We are seeking a Director of Rehab Services to join our team!


Hospital Details

Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland, located in Portland, OR, is a 65-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Patients often require additional critical care services for conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you can build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for serving as the Director of all rehabilitation services for the hospital. The Director will achieve clinical and financial operational goals, monitor admissions and treatment schedules, assist in marketing, implement hospital policies, develop new programs, ensure compliance with Joint Commission and CARF accreditation standards, and provide administrative supervision and rehabilitation management as established by the CEO/Governing Board.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of therapy-related experience required.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
  • Master’s Degree in an allied health field preferred.
  • Three (3) years management experience preferred.
  • Effective communication skills with team members and inpatient psychiatric populations.
  • Ability to remain calm under stress or in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interact with individuals under physical and emotional stress.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Proficiency with computer and software applications relevant to job functions.
  • Drug and alcohol-free workplace.
