Job summary

Pine Ridge Care Center seeks a rehabilitative services administrator to lead the overall Rehabilitation Program in a California facility. You will drive clinical planning, program development, and operations to meet quality standards and patient needs.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, compliance, evaluation of therapy services, and ensuring financial performance for the rehab department. A licensed PT/OT/SLP with relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current valid state licensure as a PT, OT, or SLP where applicable.
• Three to Five (3-5) years’ previous clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, provides orientation/training, and retains qualified staff for rehab; conducts performance appraisals.
• Ensures rehab staff provides appropriate care per established standards and policy.
• Supervises scheduling of residents for therapy services considering care plan and resources.
• Manages evaluation and development of in‑house therapy programs, equipment, and staffing ratios.
• Completes required forms/docs per company policy and state/federal regulations.
• May perform patient care duties as licensed.
• Responsible for clinical performance of the rehabilitation department.
• Responsible for financial performance of the rehabilitation department.

SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall administration, clinical planning, development, and operations of the Rehabilitation Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Recruits, hires, provides orientation/training, and retains a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out the responsibilities of the Rehabilitation department. In conjunction with the Regional Rehabilitation Manager, ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
• In conjunction with the Regional Rehabilitation Management, ensures rehabilitation staff is providing appropriate care to Resident in keeping with established standards for quality and in accordance with generally established principles of care.
• Supervises the scheduling of residents for therapy services considering available treatment hours, staff resources and overall plan of care.
• Manages the evaluation and development of in-house therapy programs including equipment assessment and staffing ratios.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
• May be required to perform patient care duties as their licensed discipline.
• Responsible for clinical performance for rehabilitation department.
• Responsible for financial performance of rehabilitation department.
