Join us as the Director of Rehab (Full-Time) at Independence Rehab

Thank you for considering this opportunity to lead our therapy department across our Portland Area facilities: Regency Park in Portland, Deerfield Village in Milwaukie, and Royalton Place in Milwaukie. This salaried position offers the potential for a monthly bonus.

Job Duties

• Oversee the entire therapy department, including part-time, full-time, and PRN staff
• Participate in regular multi-disciplinary management meetings
• Manage relationships with facility leadership and administration
• Interview and hire therapy staff in collaboration with Recruiting
• Create and manage work schedules for the therapy team
• Manage department revenues and expenses to ensure profitability
• Represent the company as the primary contact with patients' family members and friends
• Carry a patient caseload with a minimum of 50% productivity, depending on facility size
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and guidelines
• Train the therapy team on policies, procedures, and documentation requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

• Prior Director of Rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required
• Genuine care and concern for the geriatric population
• Driven, teachable, detail-oriented, and organized
• Current therapist license in good standing in the state of operation
• At least one year of experience treating patients in a skilled nursing facility
• Solid understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private-pay reimbursement guidelines (PDPM)
• Leadership and motivation skills

Salary: $80,000 per year
