Job summary

Powerback is hiring a Director of Rehab to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies. You will oversee rehab services across the facility, provide direct care as needed, and mentor clinicians to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

You will guide program design, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster collaboration with departments to restore function and independence for patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make independent decisions and problem solve
• Knowledge of state practice acts
• Ability to interact positively with staff, patients, families and public
• Ability to effectively manage/motivate staff

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of clinicians to deliver high-quality rehab services
• Oversee all rehab services in the facility and provide direct patient care as needed
• Mentor and develop the clinical team, design and implement programs
• Collaborate with staff across disciplines to ensure patient-centered care
