Job summary

Powerback in Vermont is seeking a Director of Rehab to lead a multidisciplinary team across physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies in our skilled nursing and outpatient settings.

You will oversee all rehab services, mentor clinicians, deliver direct patient care when needed, and drive programs that restore function and independence for older adults.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline required; Master's preferred.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems.
• Knowledge of state practice acts and professional regulations.
• Ability to interact positively with staff, patients, families and public.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a rehab team.

• As a Director of Rehabilitation, you are leading a team of compassionate clinicians who help patients get well. You and your team are bringing power back to the patients you serve. In doing this, you will oversee all rehab services in your facility, support your team by providing direct patient care, and ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

1. 1. Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
2. 2. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
3. 3. Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
4. 4. Must have good verbal and written communication skills
5. 5. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
6. 6. Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
7. 7. Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
8. 8. Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.

Posted Salary Range

USD $68,640.00 - USD $104,000.00 /Yr.
