Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Director of Rehab to lead a highly skilled team across physical, occupational, speech, and related therapies. You’ll oversee all rehab services in the facility while delivering direct patient care when needed.

You’ll mentor clinicians, drive program design and outcomes, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to restore patients’ independence and quality of life. Extensive experience in rehab leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
• Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts

Responsibilities

• Oversee rehab services in the facility and provide direct patient care as needed
• Lead and mentor a team of clinicians and support staff
• Collaborate with other departments to design, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation programs
• Ensure high standards of care and patient outcomes across rehab services

Responsibilities

As a Director of Rehabilitation, you are leading a team of compassionate clinicians who help patients get well. You and your team are bringing power back to the patients you serve. In doing this, you will oversee all rehab services in your facility, support your team by providing direct patient care, and ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
2. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
3. Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
4. Must have good verbal and written communication skills
5. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
6. Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
7. Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
8. Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.

Posted Salary Range

USD $83,200.00 - USD $135,200.00 /Yr.
