Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Rehab to lead and mentor our clinical teams across physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies. You will oversee program development, ensure high-quality patient care, and coordinate with staff to optimize rehabilitation services in our facilities.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and expertise in Medicare billing and state practice acts, supporting staff development and patient outcomes in diverse care settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology; Master's degree preferred.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems.
• Knowledge of state practice acts.
• Ability to interact positively with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Ability to manage and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Director of Rehab, mentoring the clinical team.

Qualifications

1. 1. Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
2. 2. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
3. 3. Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
4. 4. Must have good verbal and written communication skills
5. 5. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
6. 6. Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
7. 7. Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
8. 8. Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.

Posted Salary Range

USD $69,534.00 - USD $98,217.00 /Yr.
