Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Rehab to lead a multidisciplinary clinical team across physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies. You’ll mentor staff, collaborate with therapists to design and implement patient-centered programs, and ensure high-quality care across settings.

You will oversee program development, compliance with state acts and Medicare rules, and drive staff performance while keeping patient outcomes at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
• Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
• Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
• Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor your clinical team while supporting patient needs.
• Collaborate with therapists and coordinators to design, implement, and execute rehab programs.
• Grow and mentor staff, ensuring high-quality care and patient outcomes.
• Adapt to team and patient needs while maintaining a positive, productive work environment.

USD $83,200.00 - USD $114,400.00 /Yr.
