Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to lead a compassionate team of clinicians and oversee all rehab services in the facility. You will provide direct patient care when needed and drive program design to restore patients' abilities.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring top quality care while navigating Medicare and regulatory requirements in a dynamic rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
• Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
• Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
• Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
• Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of clinicians to help patients get well and restore abilities
• Overseeing all rehab services in the facility and providing direct patient care when needed
• Supporting and mentoring clinical staff while addressing patient needs and developing programs
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to design and implement rehabilitation plans
• Fostering a positive, growth-oriented work environment and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

As a Director of Rehabilitation, you are leading a team of compassionate clinicians who help patients get well. You and your team are bringing power back to the patients you serve. In doing this, you will oversee all rehab services in your facility, support your team by providing direct patient care, and ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation services.

• You’re a teacher, a healer, and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

• You’re equally adept at growing and mentoring your clinical team while also addressing patient’s needs. You know your goal is to support your therapists and assistants in the design, implementation, and execution of programs that will restore, reinforce, and enhance your patient’s abilities.
• You’re adaptable and in tune with the needs of your team, needs of the patient, and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.
• You know that being a Director of Rehab means you’re a teacher who can support, grow, and mentor your clinical team while always putting your patients first.

Posted Salary Range: USD $69,534.00 - USD $98,217.00 /Yr.
