We are looking for a passionate and organized Director of Recruiting & Volunteer Engagement (Volunteer) to help grow and sustain the heart of our organization—our volunteers. About the Volunteer Role

As the Director of Recruiting & Volunteer Engagement, you’ll lead efforts to attract, onboard, and retain top-tier volunteer talent. Working within the Operations Committee, you will ensure every volunteer feels welcomed, valued, and supported in their role.

Time Commitment

3–5 hours per week (remote, flexible schedule)

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies that reflect the network’s values and goals
  • Manage the volunteer database and coordinate role assignments across departments
  • Lead onboarding and orientation sessions to set volunteers up for success
  • Collaborate with other department leads to ensure volunteers understand their roles and responsibilities
  • Organize volunteer recognition programs and retention initiatives
  • Monitor volunteer satisfaction and recommend improvements to the volunteer experience
