Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Director of Real Estate to lead the search, evaluation, and acquisition of land for future Life Time Athletic Country Clubs and mixed-use developments in the U.S. and Canada.

You will drive site selection, market strategy, and cross-functional collaboration with architecture, construction, and legal teams. You’ll build and mentor a team of Real Estate Managers, partner with senior leadership, and present compelling investment cases to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of real estate analysis and acquisition experience.
• Strong experience in management and leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Market deployment strategy, including where we grow, in what order, and why
• Review of new market demographics and trade area studies to identify opportunities
• A pipeline of high-quality sites, evaluated against Life Time criteria
• A broker and landowner network that brings the right land to Life Time first
• Business plans and investment cases for senior leaders and the Board of Directors
• Competitive assessments of nearby clubs and their offerings
• Negotiation of Letters of Intent and Purchase Agreements [and Leases]
• Civil engineering, site planning, and entitlement with partners
• Disposition of excess property
• Hiring, coaching, and developing Real Estate Managers and Area Real Estate Managers
