Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management/Property Management preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant project management experience in commercial real estate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and understand building and site plans.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs using architectural/engineering scales is a plus.
• Working knowledge of project budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication and project oversight with vendors and contractors.
• Solicit project interest, pricing, and bids from vendors and develop new relationships.
• Assist with developing project budgets, scopes of work, and contracts.
• Perform quality control inspections and document deficiencies.
• Conduct building/site evaluations to identify maintenance and capital improvement opportunities.

• Maintain and update project schedules to ensure progress.

This is an opportunity to take an owner-side role with a well-established commercial real estate company where you'll have direct access to senior leadership and meaningful responsibility across a diverse portfolio of shopping centers and office properties. The position combines commercial real estate, facilities, construction oversight, and capital projects, giving you the opportunity to influence projects from budgeting and bidding through execution and completion. Because of the company's size, you'll have significant autonomy, visibility, and the ability to implement processes and make an impact.

Responsibilities:

• Manage communication and project oversight with vendors and contractors.

• Assist with developing project budgets, scopes of work, and contracts
• Perform quality control inspections and identify, document, and report project deficiencies.
• Conduct ongoing building and site evaluations to assess portfolio needs and identify maintenance and capital improvement opportunities.
• Document project inspections, site evaluations, and related findings.
• Maintain and update project schedules to ensure work progresses efficiently.

• Assist with the development of annual property and departmental budgets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Property Management, or a related field is a plus
• 5–7 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within a commercial property management or commercial real estate environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and understand building and site plans
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs using architectural and engineering scales is a plus
• Working knowledge of project budgeting and cost control.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a small-team environment.
