Job summary

The NYC Mayor’s Office of Equity & Racial Justice (MOERJ) seeks a Planning Program & Implementation Director to lead citywide racial equity planning and program implementation within the Office of Equity & Racial Justice. This role reports to the Deputy Commissioner and collaborates with multiple city agencies to advance equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred for leadership in planning and evaluation.
• Experience coordinating supervisory teams and cross-agency initiatives.
• Strong ability to translate equity goals into actionable programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the Citywide Racial Equity Plan.
• Supervise a team of four to five managers and coordinate with agencies.
• Develop training and technical assistance to implement equity standards.
• Maintain internal tools to track progress and report outcomes.
