Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in New Jersey seeks a Director, Management Review Strategy & Insights to own governance for the Management Review and Quality Council programs. You will lead enterprise-level meetings, drive predictive insights from quality data, and partner across functions to mitigate risks and improve global quality practices.

The role emphasizes executive storytelling, cross-functional leadership, and robust analytics to support senior leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, engineering, biology, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 15 years' experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, quality, technical, or regulatory roles, or combination thereof; MR/Quality Council experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with data visualization or analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire) preferred.
• Experience developing or governing enterprise-level quality processes and procedural documentation across a global organization.
• Ability to apply risk management approaches and lead cross-functional teams to improve quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the strategy, governance framework, and documentation for the Management Review process and Quality Council network.
• Lead the planning, preparation, and facilitation of Enterprise-level and GMP/GDP Quality Council meetings with agendas, materials, and minutes.
• Capture and drive accountability for action items from Enterprise Quality Council with timely reporting and closure.
• Analyze quality performance data to identify trends and deliver proactive, predictive insights for Quality Councils.
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve issues, drive mitigation, and verify effectiveness of actions.
• Identify gaps in Management Review and Quality Council processes and streamline workflows toward a sustainable state.
• Surface risks with Product Quality, Site, and CMO leads for discussion and escalation as needed.
• Lead design and development of a data-driven tool to support Quality Council discussions using internal and external data sources.
• Prepare quality updates for Head of Global Quality, leadership, and Board materials.
• Build and sustain a network of Quality Council leads to share best practices and improve analytics capability.
• Evaluate and refine Quality Council KPIs to shift from lagging to leading indicators.
• Benchmark practices against industry peers and regulatory expectations to drive continuous improvement.
