Job summary

Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is seeking a Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement professional to coordinate NYSDOH, CMS and TJC data collection, develop compliant policies, and lead QA initiatives. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of related experience; RN license is preferred but not required.

The position involves collaboration with physicians, nurses, and case managers to advance patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 3–5 years of job-related experience.
• RN license preferred but not required; quality/regulatory experience mentioned as beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate NYSDOH/CMS & TJC data collection and submission per policy and procedure.
• Develop policies and procedures aligned with best practices/evidenced-based guidance within regulatory context.
• Maintain all NYSDOH and Primary Center’s Stroke Team education requirements annually.
• Oversee quality improvement programs, risk management liaison, and education initiatives.
• Coordinate regulatory surveys and reporting with staff to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise quality solutions.
• Monitor QA processes and continuously improve testing, education, and dashboards.
• Develop QA metrics and targets for processes to ensure high-quality documentation (EHR).
• Serve as a clinical consultant for sepsis and stroke datasets to improve outcomes.
