Job summary

Weaver Popcorn Bulk, LLC is seeking a seasoned Director of Quality to provide strategic and operational leadership for food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across our food manufacturing operations.

This hands-on director will set direction, engage with plant teams, manage audits and CAPAs, and drive hold/release decisions to protect product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science, Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related fields.
• 8-10+ years of progressive quality or food safety experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• At least 5 years of people-management experience in quality.
• Proven leadership of SQF certification programs and successful food manufacturing audits.
• Experience with HACCP-based programs, risk assessment, corrective actions, and preventive controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead quality and food safety strategy, policies, and performance expectations across locations.
• Ensure QA and food safety programs are implemented, maintained, verified, and improved.
• Set grain and popcorn quality standards from grower receipt to shipment.
• Provide leadership on the manufacturing floor through engagement, risk reviews, and follow-up on quality concerns.
• Build a culture of accountability, prevention, and continuous improvement across functions.
