Job summary

FEAM Aero, a leading aircraft MRO, seeks a Director of Quality to lead QA/QC, drive AS9110 compliance, and ensure airworthiness across repair stations. The role reports to the VP of Safety & Quality and oversees regulatory interfaces, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have five+ years in CFR Part 145/121 quality assurance, an FAA license, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage a busy, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of CFR Part 145 repair station or 121 air carrier quality assurance experience.
• Must hold an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license with experience in Line Maintenance and/or Heavy Check operations.
• Thorough knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 & 121 regulations, FAA & EASA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions and ensure CFR/airworthiness compliance.
• Manage audits, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Interface with FAA, customers, and regulatory bodies on quality matters.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System per AS9110.
