Job summary

Link Technical Talent is seeking a Director of Quality in Philadelphia, PA to own the Quality Management System across multiple facilities and drive ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

You will lead a quality team, implement CAPA, audits and continuous improvement while partnering with senior leadership. Travel to Thailand site may be required; relocation assistance available. A strong background in fabrication, machining, and industrial manufacturing is preferred.

Are you a Quality Director/Manager from a machining, metals, or industrial manufacturing background, looking to put your own stamp on a well-established organization by taking full ownership of quality systems and developing the quality function across multiple facilities?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturer where you will take ownership of the Quality Management System and have the opportunity to progress into a VP or wider corporate leadership position.

This company has been established for over 55 years and specializes in technically advanced products for industries including aerospace, defense, semiconductor and integrated circuits. Following significant growth, they have expanded their Philadelphia operations and opened an additional manufacturing facility in Thailand.

In this position, you will lead and develop the quality organization, including a team of Quality Inspectors and Supervisors, while taking ownership of ISO 9001:2015 and the QMS across multiple facilities. You will drive quality strategy, corrective actions, audit readiness and continuous improvement, with potential travel to the company's Thailand operation.

This role would suit a Quality Leader with experience in industrial manufacturing who wants significant autonomy, exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to build and develop a quality function within a growing organization.

The Role:

• Take ownership of the Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015 compliance across multiple manufacturing facilities
• Lead and develop the quality team, including Quality Inspectors, Supervisors and Engineering personnel
• Drive quality strategy, audits, CAPA, continuous improvement and quality standards across the organization
• Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership, with potential travel to the Thailand manufacturing operation

The Person:

• Quality Manager / Director from a manufacturing or industrial background
• ISO 9001 (preferred) and QMS experience
• Ideally experience within fabrication, sheet metal, welding, machining, aerospace, automotive or similar manufacturing
• Looking to take ownership of a quality department with long‑term progression into senior leadership
