Job summary

Hadrian is seeking a Head of Qualification to own and scale how parts get qualified for production across defense programs. You will oversee the end-to-end pipeline, from intake to source approval, and manage a team of PQMs and engineers to deliver production-ready data and TDPs.

You will define scope, drive workflow automation, and serve as the primary customer interface, ensuring throughput and data confidence while building a high-performing qualification organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in qualification, quality, manufacturing engineering, or related leadership roles.
• Detailed knowledge of part qualification, first article verification, technical data packages (TDPs), and source approval.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory and customer requirements into practical workflows.
• Experience building or scaling systems and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong decision-making and cross-functional leadership across engineering, operations, and government customers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end qualification function from intake through source approval in alignment with customer requirements.
• Define and maintain qualification scope and own the qualification pipeline and its workflow automation.
• Lead PQMs and Manufacturing/Quality Engineers producing production-ready design data sets and TDPs.
• Own qualification performance metrics and serve as Hadrian’s qualification interface to the customer.
• Partner with reverse engineering, manufacturing engineering, and quality to translate outputs into producible, source-approved parts; hire and scale the team.
