Job summary
Hadrian in Torrance, CA is seeking a hands-on Qualification Engineer to drive IQ/OQ, PQ, and data-driven qualification of metal and polymer AM printers. You will build and defend qualification data packages for Army, Navy, and aerospace primes, coordinating with Materials & Process, and Applications Engineering.
Based in California with travel to customer sites including government depots, you will own protocol execution, FAT/SAT, software and firmware qualification, and cross-functional
Qualifications
- Experience qualifying metal AM equipment per AMS7032/ISO/ASTM TS 52930/52920.
- Experience measuring as-built additive surfaces and performing scan-to-CAD comparison.
- Defense depot or government-owned facility, or A&D production background; Nadcap/AS9100 experience.
- Experience standing up qualification from scratch at a new site.
Responsibilities
- Lead IQ/OQ and PQ protocol authoring and execution with traceability from installation to production release.
- Coordinate FAT, SAT for incoming AM equipment and drive open items to resolution before production release.
- Qualify AM software toolchain and firmware, maintain configuration control and security accreditation.
- Qualify metal and polymer platforms, adapt protocols to subsystems and acceptance criteria.
- Design machine capability studies and perform CPk analyses against drawings.
