Job summary

HAUS is seeking a senior PR leader to guide strategic communications for frontier technology startups and scaleups. You will shepherd messaging, media relations, and executive positioning across key tech verticals, while driving client growth and agency impact.

You will mentor teams, shape crisis strategies, and partner with C-suite executives to aligncommunications with funding milestones and product launches. This remote role favors candidates from major tech hubs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of public relations experience with 3–5 years in a director or senior leadership role at a PR agency.
• Extensive experience developing and executing PR strategies for B2B technology companies, including frontier tech sectors (AI, quantum computing, biotech, robotics).
• Proven track record managing complex, high-stakes communications including funding announcements, crisis situations, and strategic pivots.
• Established network of senior-level media relationships across technology, business, and vertical publications.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing PR teams, with strong mentorship and people management skills.
• Exceptional strategic thinking abilities with experience translating business goals into communications strategies.
• Outstanding writing and communication skills across formats and audiences.
• Experience advising C-level executives and boards on communications strategy.
• Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem, funding landscape, and venture capital dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and contribute to new business development and agency growth.

Responsibilities

Salary Range

• $145,000 - 165,000

• This is a remote role
• Preference will be given to candidates located in major tech hubs including: New York, Boston, DC, Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.
