Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive PR experience, including significant leadership responsibilities.
  • Past demonstrated experience leading successful PR teams, communications programs, and internal + external relationships within a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Proven ability to build and mentor teams while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
  • A confident, magnetic, decisive leadership style paired with collaboration and adaptability.
  • Experience driving B2C brand awareness and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Review and elevate media relations programs, thought leadership initiatives, influencer strategies, reputation management efforts, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure recommendations are rooted in alignment across business objectives, audience takeaways, and measurable insights.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging channels, and shifts within respective consumer focused industries.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of PR professionals and freelancers.
  • Maintain a culture of accountability, collaboration, creativity, and growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance, coaching, and feedback that helps team members expand their confidence and capabilities.
  • Build strong partnerships across integrated marketing disciplines.

This role will lead and elevate a growing PR practice focused on B2C brands. As the Director of PR, you’ll be tasked with leading as a strategic operator that has a proven history of inspiring and motivating high-performing teams. What You’ll Do:

Champion the Vision for PR

  • Serve as senior strategic leader responsible for defining the vision in direction, performance, and continued growth and development of a high-performing team.
