Job summary

STACK Infrastructure seeks a Director of Public Affairs to lead government relations and public policy across North America. The role involves building relationships with officials, utilities, and industry groups while guiding site strategy and regulatory risk management.

You will work with Development, Energy, Sustainability, Legal, and Communications teams to align political considerations with project execution, reporting to senior leadership. Remote or Denver-based, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, political science, or related field preferred.
• Experience in government relations, public affairs, legislative or regulatory policy.
• Ability to analyze legislation and translate into business decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple markets, jurisdictions, and deadlines.
• Experience managing outside counsel, lobbyists, or consultants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor state and local legislation affecting data center development.
• Develop public affairs and advocacy plans for priority markets and projects.
• Build relationships with officials, utility commissions, and industry groups.
• Advise leaders on local requirements and regulatory developments.
• Prepare memos, testimony, talking points, and materials for leaders.
• Coordinate with internal teams and partners on timelines and reporting.
