Job description

Analytica is seeking a hands-on Director of Proposal Management & Marketing to lead federal proposal development, infrastructure, and operations while also supporting federal-facing marketing and brand positioning.

The ideal candidate is an experienced federal proposal leader who brings both operational rigor and creative insight—capable of aligning marketing content with the needs of government clients and elevating brand presence in a mid-sized, fast-growing company environment.

Analytica has been recognized by Inc. Magazine for 3 consecutive years as one of the 250 fastest growing businesses. We offer competitive compensation with opportunities for bonuses, employer-paid health care, training and development funds, and 401k match.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support requests for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Sources Sought, Capability Briefings, Federal Client Marketing, and other related requests.
  • Analyze solicitations to determine proposal requirements; develop compliant and responsive outlines; coordinate with department heads for approval; develop compliance matrices; and identify resources needed for pursuit efforts.
  • Manage the proposal process from approval to RFP release and delivery, including document ownership, team communication, deadline setting, writing, editing, proofreading, and quality control to meet client requirements.
  • Oversee proposal production for high-profile bids, ensuring coherence, compliance, and completeness; coordinate proposal sections and government forms.
  • Manage external marketing materials to ensure alignment with branding and messaging strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a Proposal Center repository with training materials, reusable content, project profiles, and capability statements; collaborate to capture performance proofs and testimonials.
  • Lead proposal and writing workshops, collaboration sessions, reviews, and oral presentation preparations.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; training in Shipley methodology strongly preferred.
  • At least 12+ years of experience managing and winning federal proposals in a proposal or capture management role.
  • Proven success in managing teams, influencing stakeholders, setting goals, coaching, mentoring, and conflict management.
  • Ability to leverage new technology to streamline processes (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, CoPilot, LLMs).
  • Strong accountability, analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience generating proposal materials and leading large-scale proposal efforts with full compliance review.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines in a small team.
  • Experience managing proposal support teams is preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Teams/SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat PDF.
  • U.S. Citizen able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
