Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals is seeking an experienced Director of Property Care to lead our property care operations in Blue Ridge, GA. This hands-on role oversees housekeeping, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure every vacation rental is clean, safe, properly supplied, and guest-ready.

The Director will build a unified team, establish reliable systems, and create clear accountability across multiple workstreams, developing leaders, assigning ownership, and addressing recurring

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a unified Property Care team across housekeeping, maintenance, and quality assurance.
• Establish clear roles, performance expectations, and accountability throughout the department.
• Develop team leaders and ensure responsibilities are assigned and completed consistently.
• Create and maintain reliable systems for property readiness, preventive maintenance, inspections, and quality control.
• Ensure properties consistently meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, functionality, supplies, and overall guest readiness.
• Monitor daily operations, identify recurring issues, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Protect guest confidence and owner trust through timely communication, strong documentation, and consistent follow-through.
• Manage departmental labor within approved budgets.
• Monitor employee and vendor capacity, utilization, quality, and performance.
• Reduce preventable waste, repeat service issues, and unnecessary operating costs.
• Maintain complete labor, material, photographic, and vendor documentation.
• Support accurate and timely owner and departmental billing.
• Establish appropriate vendor pricing, service expectations, and performance standards.
• Ensure appropriate weekend, holiday, and after-hours operational coverage.
• Participate in operational response outside standard business hours when necessary.

Position Summary

Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals is seeking an experienced Director of Property Care to lead our property care operations in Blue Ridge, Georgia. This hands-on leadership role oversees housekeeping, maintenance, and quality assurance to ensure every vacation rental property is clean, functional, safe, properly supplied, and guest-ready.

The Director of Property Care will build a unified team, establish reliable systems, and create clear accountability across multiple workstreams. This position is responsible for developing capable leaders, assigning ownership, monitoring performance, removing operational obstacles, and addressing recurring issues at their source.

The ideal candidate is a decisive, organized leader who can strengthen people and processes while protecting the guest experience, owner assets, employee experience, financial performance, and long-term value of the company. This position reports to the General Manager.

What You’ll Do

Build and lead a unified Property Care team across housekeeping, maintenance, and quality assurance.

Establish clear roles, performance expectations, and accountability throughout the department.

Compensation, Benefits & More

Compensation: $65,000 to $75,000 annually

Bonus: All Employee Compensation Program, similar to profit sharing
