Job summary

Frederick Fox in Los Angeles is seeking a Director of Project Development to lead financing strategy for affordable housing projects, coordinating with PMs to secure financing and ensure project viability.

This senior role requires extensive LIHTC and debt/equity financing experience, overseeing development through construction and closeout phases in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 10 years in real estate with emphasis in multi-family housing or affordable housing development.
• Extensive experience with LIHTC and city/county/state funding programs.
• Track record of private and public debt financing and equity typical for affordable housing development.
• Experience in all phases of new construction development process.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop financing sources, prepare financing applications and meet lender requirements to secure new projects.
• Assist LIHTC programs to procure construction and permanent financing for developments and assist with due diligence requirements for Investors/Lenders at partnership/loan closings.
• Assist in the preparation and updates of project proformas.
• Work with other departments to prepare project’s development and construction budget.

Job Title: Director of Project Development

Frederick Fox (Los Angeles) is partnering with a real estate development company specialized in affordable housing to hire a Director of Project Development in north Los Angeles.

Direct Reports: None but will collaborate with a team of 4 Project Managers and Assistant PMs to prepare financing applications

Salary Range: $160,000 - $240,000 base + discretionary 15% annual bonus

• Retirement – 5% retirement match
• Time Away – 3 to 4 weeks PTO plus holidays
