Job summary

TSP Search in the United States is seeking an experienced development professional to lead on project development and origination across MISO & PJM, while cultivating the development strategy and helping scale the current development team.

The ideal candidate will have broad skills across the project development lifecycle with the ability to organize cross-functional teams, think strategically, and bring deep knowledge of energy markets and utility-scale wind, PV or storage projects.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of renewable energy industry experience in a development role.
• Experience with full lifecycle energy project development and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of energy markets across the Mid-West.
• Technical understanding of Wind, PV or Battery Storage projects.
• Knowledge of project finance, budgeting and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead on development and origination across MISO & PJM; shape strategy to scale the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage end-to-end project development lifecycle.
• Apply commercial, technical and industry knowledge to guide development decisions.
• Direct experience with utility-scale project development is a requirement.

TSP Search are seeking an experienced development professional to join our IPP client to lead on project development and origination across MISO & PJM, whilst cultivating the development strategy and helping scale the current development team.

The ideal candidate will have a broad skill set across the entire project development lifecycle with a wide range of commercial, technical, project management and industry knowledge. This will be an experienced renewable energy project developer who can organize cross-functional teams and think flexibly and strategically. Direct experience with utility-scale project development is a hard requirement.

Responsibilities:

• 9 + years of renewable energy industry experience in a development role, with a great track record of full lifecycle energy project development
• Excellent understanding of project development in the multiple energy markets particularly across the Mid-West.
• Technical understanding of Wind, PV or Battery Storage projects
• Understanding of project finance, budgeting and financial analysis
