Job summary

Asia Society Northern California – Seattle Center seeks a Director of Programs to build a dynamic Seattle Center slate and collaborate with the Northern California Center. The role drives global programming, executive briefings, public events, and major conferences both virtually and in-person.

You will lead content development, coordinate logistics, and manage communications, sponsorships, and intern programs, while aligning with regional and cross-center teams.

Qualifications

• College degree required; Masters preferred with 7-9 years of related work.
• Progressively responsible experience leading programs and initiatives.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proofreading and editing.
• Demonstrated interest in Asia and ability to coordinate across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead content development and narrative-building of events and the program calendar.
• Oversee coordination of in-person and virtual events and logistics.
• Manage posting of events on website (Drupal), ticketing & CRM platforms ACME & Salesforce, and social media.
• Curate communications and calendar of email campaigns and social media.
• Assist in sponsor pitches and intern recruitment and supervision.
• Develop and maintain systems and procedures for timely workflows.
