A leading organization seeks a Director of Programming & Education to provide vision and leadership for association programming and events. This remote role involves managing conferences, developing educational initiatives, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates have significant experience in the financial services sector and excellent organizational skills.

The new role of Director of Programming & Education is responsible for providing vision and leadership for association programming and events, managing a portfolio of conferences and programs, and leading educational initiatives. The Director will be a key part of the IPA team, supporting strategic initiatives and serving as a thought leader. They will also work to expand partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
The association is based in Washington, D.C., but this is a fully remote/home-based position. Candidates outside the Washington, D.C. area will be considered. The role requires up to 15% travel.
We are a small, dynamic, and dedicated team, skilled at multitasking and collaboration across responsibilities.
Major Responsibilities:
Continuously research and incorporate the latest industry trends, topics, best practices, technology, and innovations into programming and educational efforts.
Work closely with the Director of Marketing to execute promotional campaigns and with the Conference & Event Manager to ensure smooth planning and execution of conferences and events.
Collaborate with the CEO, staff, vendors, and consultants to ensure the success of conferences, events, and educational programs.
Provide onsite support at conferences and events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the IPA President & CEO and collaborates with staff, vendors, and consultants as needed.
