ULRI is confronting the most urgentchallenges to society (sustainable materials, energy storage, massive fires, chemical pollution, digital safety) and has a very long time horizon to tackle them. Second, ULRI is a trusted, independent research organization that has a highly secure financial future. We do not depend on external funding so we are focused only on strategic funding and partnership opportunities that align with our mission. Weare making extraordinary bets on developing the most unique capabilities in the world (more on that later). Third, we are poised for a period of significant growth and you can join us at a pivotal moment. You can help us build the research development engine from the ground up in a very entrepreneurial way - no legacy systems, no bureaucracy, no limitations. We get to develop a vision for a portfolio of opportunities together. If you have an outstanding operational experience developing complex federal proposals and forming partnerships - this is a unique opportunity to create a strategic and effective research development team that has a big appetite for change. We arelooking for a dynamic, operationally excellent leader who is both highly competent and collaborative.
