Job summary

COLTS MANUFACTURING COMPANY LLC is seeking a Director of Product Development & Industrialization to lead new firearm platforms from concept to production. You will own design decisions, develop suppliers, and establish manufacturing processes, ensuring scalable, producible products with strong supply chain support.

The role requires 15+ years in product development, manufacturing, or NPI, with expertise in CAD, FEA, GD&T, and manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in product development, manufacturing, industrialization, or new product introduction.
• Strong mechanical design experience with complex mechanical systems.
• Expertise in 3D CAD design and engineering drawing creation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new firearm products, accessories, and related platforms from concept through production.
• Develop and maintain complete Technical Data Packages including CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and supporting documentation.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed component and assembly designs.
