About the Team:

The AlphaSense Product Design team is composed of talented product designers located across the US and Finland. We’re a detail-oriented, strategic-minded group dedicated to creating engaging user experiences that deliver real results. We base our designs on a deep understanding of user behavior, market trends, and performance metrics, ensuring that our work drives meaningful impact for our clients, which range from Fortune 1000 companies to leading financial institutions around the globe. About the Role:

With AlphaSense Enterprise Intelligence, we're building an entirely new layer of decision-making infrastructure. We’re looking for an innovative Design leader to lead the user experience vision and design of enterprise integration capabilities that transform how customers integrate their proprietary internal content into AlphaSense. You’ll define design strategy based on a deep understanding of enterprise workflows, our tech stack, and the competitive landscape. You’ll partner directly with our platform and AI/ML engineering teams to understand how customer content is parsed, transformed, and made semantically searchable at scale. We’re entering a phase of explosive enterprise adoption of GenAI. Organizations are hungry to activate their internal knowledge — and you’ll lead the design that makes that possible.

This role reports directly to the VP of Design. You’ll have direct accountability for the enterprise integrations domain and will partner closely with senior product leadership to set design direction for the Enterprise Intelligence product line.

Who You Are

• 10+ years of experience in digital product design, including 3–5 years in a design leadership or team management role
• Experience leading design for complex B2B or enterprise SaaS products, ideally with a focus on content or data-rich experiences
• Track record of delivering impactful design outcomes in collaboration with cross-functional partners, from discovery through delivery and iteration
• Ability to give clear, actionable feedback across UX disciplines, and guide teams to high-quality solutions grounded in research and strategic thinking
• Strong proficiency in Figma and/or modern design tools; familiarity with design systems and agile development environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders across all levels
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams, with a strong focus on mentorship, team development, and fostering a collaborative design culture
• Strong product thinking and business acumen; you’re focused on driving customer and business outcomes through intuitive, effective design
  A natural communicator and storyteller who can articulate design vision and rationale across audiences, from peers to senior leadership
• Deep experience designing for complex data or content-heavy products, with a focus on delivering clarity and simplicity at scale
• Comfortable with fast-paced, iterative product development and able to balance speed with thoughtful UX execution
• Passionate about advocating for users and ensuring that accessibility, usability, and quality are at the core of all design decisions

What You’ll Do

• Key leader of design strategy and execution for a core area of the AlphaSense platform, aligning closely with product and engineering leadership
• Manage and grow a team of product designers, providing hands-on coaching, career development, and support to help them thrive
  Facilitate design critiques, concept reviews, and collaborative working sessions that promote a strong feedback culture and design excellence
• Partner with Product and Engineering leads to prioritize customer needs, define success metrics, and execute on the roadmap with a user-centered approach
• Own and evolve the design process and practices within your group, ensuring consistency and alignment with broader design systems and brand standards
• Translate complex problems into elegant, accessible, and cohesive experiences that deliver clear value to users
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Research, Customer Success, and Data teams to ensure a holistic, customer-focused product experience
• Champion design quality and innovation by bringing inspiration from emerging trends, technologies, and user behaviors into the team’s work

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

Base Compensation Range $200,000 — $250,000 USD
