The Opportunity

Our fast-growing SaaS client in the field services space is seeking a Director of Product Design to help shape the next chapter of their product evolution. This is not a purely management role - it’s an opportunity for a senior design leader who loves to roll up their sleeves and lead by doing. You’ll be deeply involved in the craft of UX and UI design, as well as driving product strategy and cross-functional alignment.

As Director of Design, you’ll guide and grow a talented team of 3 senior designers while maintaining a strong individual contributor presence across high-impact initiatives. You’ll refine and scale design processes, elevate visual and interaction quality, and play a central role in defining the user experience for a product ecosystem on track to double its revenue in the coming years.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to stay in the work while leading the way - merging strategic vision with practical execution in a high-growth, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage a team of senior and principal designers, offering mentorship and direction
• Contribute directly to UX and UI design work on core product initiatives
• Partner with product and engineering to define and drive product strategy
• Develop and scale design systems, workflows, and team rituals
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and champion design thinking throughout the org
• Help evolve the product roadmap, ensuring a balance of user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of professional experience, with 8+ years in B2B SaaS design
• Expertise across the full design stack—UX, UI, interaction, and product thinking
• Strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on work that delivered meaningful user and business impact
• Experience mentoring and managing high-performing designers
• Excitement about building and scaling a design org inside a product-led company
• Experience in field services, vertical SaaS, or workflow-heavy platforms is a plus
• Motivated to help take a business from $50M to $100M+ in ARR as a strategic design partner
