Role Overview

We’re hiring a Director of Product to lead product delivery, scale a high-functioning product team, and foster a culture of innovation & learning. You’ll report to the VP of Product in this net-new leadership role to mature the product organization, unlock untapped areas for product growth, and ultimately empower consumers to achieve their real estate goals with Clever.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers and Designers
  • Run regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and individual growth plans
  • Build a strong, feedback-driven culture within the product org

Product Planning & Execution Oversight

  • Oversee product delivery across multiple pods, ensuring alignment and velocity
  • Own OKR development and backlog prioritization
  • Improve delivery processes using modern industry standards and your own experience
  • Support discovery, delivery, and experimentation alongside your Product team

Partnerships & Integration Enablement

  • Collaborate with Ops, Sales, and external partners to launch and scale new integrations
  • Participate in partnership meetings and shape strategy for partnership product initiatives
  • Develop systems for cross-functional planning and communication

Cross-functional Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a connector between Engineering, CX, Offers, Closings, and other departments
  • Keep product plans tightly aligned across functions
  • Maintain strong communication loops to ensure clarity and feedback from all sides

Strategy & Vision Alignment with VP of Product

  • Partner with the VP of Product to translate company strategy into product goals
  • Assist with annual and quarterly planning efforts
  • Support org-wide communication of product strategy and outcomes

Ideal Candidate

You’re a product leader who brings clarity to complexity and thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments. You have deep product leadership experience, strong systems thinking, and a proven track record of shipping valuable & viable solutions.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product experience, with at least 3+ years in a people management role
  • Proven track record of leading product teams of 5-15 people in startup or high-growth environments
  • Deep experience as an individual Product Manager shipping strong product experiences before transitioning into a leadership role
  • Proven ability to dive into the details and quickly learn new domains, as well as getting an understanding and perspective on all major parts of the business
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery, product delivery, and impact measurement
  • You excel at analyzing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions
  • You can drive cross-functional groups to make timely decisions using your strong communication skills and by influencing without authority
  • Experience with real estate tech, fintech, or marketplaces is preferred

Salary: $150,000–$180,000
