Job summary

Hunted International in New York seeks a senior procurement leader to own enterprise-wide sourcing strategy and transform procurement into a strategic business partner.

You will work with senior leaders across Operations, Finance, Engineering, IT, and Facilities to identify savings, manage risk, and improve requisition-to-pay processes while mentoring a high-performing team.

We’re looking for a high-caliber procurement leader to take ownership of enterprise-wide sourcing strategy and help transform Procurement into a true strategic partner to the business.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, cost optimization, supplier management, analytics, and cross-functional leadership. You’ll work directly with senior leaders across Operations, Finance, Engineering, IT, Facilities, and other key functions to identify opportunities, drive measurable savings, manage risk, and improve how the organization procures goods and services.

What You’ll Do

• Lead enterprise-wide procurement and strategic sourcing strategy.
• Develop category strategies aligned with business and financial objectives.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and supplier optimization efforts.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and value creation.
• Build strong partnerships across Finance, Operations, Engineering, IT, and Facilities.
• Establish KPIs and reporting that clearly demonstrate Procurement’s impact.
• Improve procurement processes, systems, governance, and the overall requisition-to-pay lifecycle.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing Procurement team.
• Drive change and continuously elevate Procurement's capabilities and influence.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Consulting, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience leading strategic initiatives and delivering measurable business results.
• Strong background in sourcing, negotiations, supplier management, and cost optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams.
• Exceptional analytical, financial, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to turn ideas into action.
• Someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, challenging the status quo, and driving change.
