Client Details
Some companies view preconstruction as a department.
For our client, it's one of the most important ways they serve their clients, support their operations teams, and set projects up for success long before the first shovel hits the ground. Over the last 50 years, they've built a strong reputation for quality, consistency, and a people-first approach that's set them apart from the competition.
We're looking for a Director of Preconstruction to help lead efforts as presence and projects continue to expand throughout Texas. Not someone who's simply great with numbers. We're looking for a builder of teams, relationships, and processes. Someone who's just as comfortable mentoring an estimator as they are sitting across the table from a client helping solve a challenge before it becomes a problem.
Description
As Director of Preconstruction you'll:
- Lead, mentor, and continue building an already strong preconstruction team
- Partner with operations to ensure projects are set up for success before they ever break ground
- Work directly with clients, design teams, and trade partners to deliver thoughtful, value-driven solutions
- Guide conceptual estimating, budgeting, GMP development, cost planning, and constructability efforts
- Help shape how technology, data, and innovation are used throughout the preconstruction process
- Support pursuit strategies that align with both client goals and company strengths
- Build scalable processes that support continued growth without sacrificing quality or culture
- Create an environment where people are challenged, supported, and excited to come to work
