National Life Group is seeking an experienced Director of Portfolio Management to lead integrated portfolio planning across a Life and Annuity domain. The role demands shaping demand, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring capacity and dependency visibility to deliver business and technology impact.

The ideal candidate will navigate complex environments, influence senior stakeholders, and translate strategy into executable work, with an onsite schedule four days a week.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 14+ years of portfolio management, program management, or related experience.
• Strong Life and Annuity industry experience with domain expertise.
• Translate business/tech strategy into executable portfolio plans.
• Lead complex portfolio planning across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong intake management, demand shaping, and roadmap sequencing.
• Influence governance discussions and drive alignment across departments.
• Excellent analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and maintain the integrated domain portfolio plan with initiatives, demand, roadmap, and dependencies.
• Translate strategy into short-term executable portfolio priorities and sequencing for the domain.
• Advise leadership on portfolio health, tradeoffs, delivery risk, and capacity constraints.
• Ensure the domain roadmap is transparent, executable, and aligned to enterprise priorities.
• Provide executive-ready, fact-based decision support to governance forums.
• Maintain visibility into capacity, risks, and sequencing across the domain.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to align initiative-level plans to domain priorities.
