• PhD or equivalent in a related field (e.g. public policy, economics, sociology, political science) and at least 5 years of experience in public policy research, or a Master’s degree in a quantitative field with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience with multivariate statistical methods, survey research, data sets in the U.S., and strong written/verbal communication.
• Demonstrated commitment to racial justice and gender equity; ability to translate research for policymakers and diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantitative research production and staff; shape research projects and timelines.
• Develop rapid response processes balancing timeliness and collaboration across teams.
• Coordinate research output with Communications, Policy, and Advancement teams and contribute to IWPR’s thought leadership.
