Job summary

Responsibilities include driving excellence across production, quality, food safety, maintenance, supply chain, cost control, and safety while preparing for significant expansion. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in executive or operational leadership roles in manufacturing.
• Experience managing mid- to large-sized plants.
• Expertise in food safety standards (SQF, BRC, HACCP).
• Hands-on with Continuous Improvement programs (Lean or Six Sigma).
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Director of Plant Operations

Salary Range: $150,000.00 To $220,000.00 Annually

We are seeking a Director of Plant Operations with strategic vision and a strong, hands-on presence on the plant floor to lead the end-to-end operation of a major cheese production facility in Wisconsin.

The person in this role will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all key areas—production, quality, food safety, maintenance, supply chain, cost control, and workplace safety—while fostering a high-performance culture and preparing the plant for a pivotal phase of expansion.

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years in executive or operational leadership roles in manufacturing (food or dairy industry preferred).


• Proven experience managing mid- to large-sized plants.


• Demonstrated expertise in food safety standards (SQF, BRC, HACCP), maintenance management, and cost control.


• Hands-on experience with Continuous Improvement programs (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar).


• Analytical mindset, results-driven, with strong complex problem-solving skills.


• Fluent in Spanish and English (bilingual required).
