Job summary

Peachtree Spine & Sports Physicians in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Director of Physical Therapy to lead our department across nine locations. You will oversee clinic operations and foster a supportive environment for patients and staff, aligning with the company’s red carpet service mission.

The ideal candidate has a DPT, active GA license, 5+ years of clinical PT with 2+ years in leadership, and a background in outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine.

Qualifications

• DPT degree required and active Georgia license or eligibility.
• 5+ years of clinical PT with 2+ years in lead/supervisor role is needed.
• Outpatient ortho/sports medicine background preferred.
• Experience in multi-site physician-owned practices is a plus.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise PT treatment plans based on physician orders and test results.
• Lead, mentor, and develop PTs, PTAs, and techs.
• Oversee daily clinic operations including schedules, evaluations, and training.
• Own department goals, policies, and procedures; ensure accountability.
• Collaborate with PT team to address patient concerns and improve care.
• Communicate policy changes between Admin and PT department.

Full-Time | On-Site

Starting salary: $140,000.00 annually, with eligibility for a production-based bonus.

Peachtree Spine & Sports Physicians is looking for an experienced Director of Physical Therapy to lead our physical therapy department across our nine Atlanta-area locations. As Director, you will oversee clinic operations while fostering a friendly and encouraging environment where both patients and staff thrive. Peachtree Spine’s mission is to provide red carpet customer service to all.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders, current standards of care and by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results of patients.
• Lead, mentor and develop our PTs, PTAs, and techs, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Manage daily clinic operations including but not limited to employee schedules, performance reviews and training.
• Own the department's goals, policies, and procedures, and hold the PT team accountable.
• Collaborate with the PT team to address any patient concerns.
• Support, lead and communicate any policy and procedure changes, acting as a liaison between Admin and the PT department.

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Active Georgia PT license in good standing (or eligible)
• 5+ years of clinical experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead, supervisory, or director role
• Outpatient orthopedic and/or sports medicine background strongly preferred
• Experience in a physician-owned or multi-site practice preferred
• Comfort with EMR documentation workflows, experience with Epic is a plus!
• BLS certification
• Competitive compensation starting at $140,000.00
