Job summary

PACER Center, Inc. in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Director of Development to lead fundraising strategy, manage a development team, and secure gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations.

This externally facing role will drive annual goals, cultivate donor relationships, plan events, and expand multi-channel campaigns while upholding accountability and transparency. Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressived fundraising leadership in nonprofits.
• Experience securing six-figure gifts from individuals or foundations.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience managing staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-range fundraising strategies and annual goals.
• Cultivate and solicit a portfolio of major donors and foundations.
• Oversee development team planning, events, and grants revenue.
• Collaborate with marketing to produce fundraising materials.
• Monitor metrics and report progress to leadership and board.
