Job summary

Tykes & Teens is seeking a Director of Philanthropy to provide strategic leadership over fundraising, donor engagement, communications, marketing, and community relations. You will develop comprehensive philanthropic strategies to secure support from individuals, corporations, foundations, civic groups, and government sources while raising awareness of our mission.

As a Leadership Team member, you will cultivate a culture of philanthropy, build strong relationships with donors and community

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible fundraising experience in nonprofit settings.
• Experience in major gift development, donor cultivation, and revenue growth.
• Experience supervising staff and managing departmental goals.
• Experience with donor databases and fundraising software.
• Experience overseeing marketing, communications, PR, and social media initiatives preferred.
• Grant writing and grant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute philanthropic strategies to secure and grow support from individuals, corporations, foundations, civic organizations, and government sources.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field required.
• Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT strongly preferred.

This position will develop and execute comprehensive philanthropic strategies to secure and grow financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations, civic organizations, and government sources while increasing awareness of the organization's mission and impact.

As a member of the Leadership Team, the Director of Philanthropy will foster a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization and serve as a key ambassador to donors, community leaders, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.
