Director of Pharmacy

Our client is a 100+ bed not for profit hospital located near Columbia, SC. They believe in quality patient care and have received the Zero Harm Award for the past 2 years and have been awarded for Medical Excellence Performance among many other recent accomplishments.

This hospital is looking for a top Pharmacy Director to lead this department into years to come.

The Pharmacy Director performs drug distribution and clinical responsibilities on orders of the medical staff; evaluates orders and provides drug therapy for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients then dispenses accordingly; provides patient/family and community education. The Director of Pharmacy also participates in established clinical functions to define areas to improve patient outcomes.

• 3+ years' experience in Hospital Pharmacy Leadership
• Pharmacist license in the state of SC
