Job summary

Optum/CPS Solutions is seeking a Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy services at Marion General Hospital in Grant County. You will partner with hospital executives, clinical teams, and pharmacy staff to advance medication safety, operational excellence, financial performance, and patient outcomes.

In this role, you will drive strategy, oversee budgeting, and lead a team of pharmacists, technicians, and managers to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• PharmD or ACPE-accredited BS in Pharmacy.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Hospital leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all pharmacy operations for a single hospital.
• Ensure safe, effective, evidence-based medication use.
• Oversee clinical pharmacy services, medication safety, and formulary management.
• Lead and develop pharmacy managers, pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, USP, Board of Pharmacy, and state/federal regulations
• Manage budgeting, purchasing, contracts, and cost-containment initiatives
• Collaborate with executive leadership on patient care, quality, and safety goals
• Drive innovation, performance improvement, and strategic growth through data, technology, and best practices

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

Salary Range:

$112,700 - $193,200 annually, based on experience, education, and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits and incentive programs available for eligible employees.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
