Southern Indian Health Council seeks a Director of Pharmacy to oversee Alpine Clinic operations, ensuring quality programs, licensure, and 340B administration. The role reports to the COO and includes supervising staff, budgeting, and policy development.
The position requires a PharmD with a California Pharmacist license and at least five years in pharmacy leadership, preferably with ambulatory care experience. Strong collaboration with clinicians is essential.

Compensation: $147,433 - $214,344/year DOE
Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Pharmacy Director is responsible for the planning, evaluation, supervision, coordination, implementation, and administration of comprehensive and effective quality Pharmacy programs (new & existing) at the Alpine Clinic and will include working with the Campo- based Staff Pharmacist on a regular basis. Duties include providing professional advice/consultation concerning drugs and their administration to patient/staff on timely basis, the maintenance of a drug formulary, establishing & maintaining excellent patient/staff relations, maintaining, licensure, reporting of data and the billing of revenues from customers.
Must possess PharmD and ACPE. Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the State of California. Experience with 340b preferred. Proven experience in pharmacy management or a leadership role. Education, training, and/or experience which clearly demonstrates possession of the knowledge, ability, and skills stated above. Qualifications for the Education/Experience requirement must include successful completion of a graduate pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy school; and a minimum of five years of full-time, post-degree, professional experience in a public or private agency providing hospital or equivalent services as a Pharmacy Director. Strong ambulatory background preferred. Must be at least 18 years old.
A valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment. Applicant must be able to travel throughout the organization’s service area including all SIHC site locations. Current certifications and/or licenses appropriate to the positions required education and profession.

Normal clinic/office environment. Sit or stand for long periods of time. Reach, bend, climb, stoop, lift up to 25 lbs. repetitive hand movement; use and view PC. Reliable transportation and car insurance as required by the state. Travel as needed.

Participation in all compliance training is mandatory, and generally has a heightened awareness of policies and regulations that are specific to one’s department and position. All SIHC employees are expected to report violations or suspected violations of compliance policies or regulations.
