Job summary

RBW Consulting is seeking a senior pharmacometric leader to influence development strategy rather than simply deliver modelling outputs. You will shape model-informed drug development across a diverse portfolio, working directly with sponsors and multidisciplinary teams to guide critical decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, modelling and simulation within biotech, pharma, or consulting environments.
• Strong background in population PK/PD modelling and model-informed drug development.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and health authority interactions.
• Advanced proficiency with tools such as NONMEM, R, and related pharmacometric software.
• Proven ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentoring scientists or leading project teams.
• Commercial awareness and confidence working directly with external clients and stakeholders.

As part of continued growth, they are looking to appoint a senior pharmacometric leader who can combine deep technical expertise with client-facing strategic input.

In this position, you'll play a key role in shaping model-informed drug development strategies across a diverse portfolio of programmes, working directly with sponsors and multidisciplinary teams to guide critical development decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading population PK/PD and exposure-response modelling activities across multiple development programmes
• Providing strategic clinical pharmacology and modelling expertise to support key decision points throughout development
• Acting as a trusted scientific partner to clients, advising on study design, dose selection, and development strategy
• Mentoring and developing pharmacometricians within project teams
• Contributing to regulatory submissions and supporting interactions with global health authorities
• Overseeing project delivery while ensuring the highest scientific standards
• Building long-term client relationships and contributing to business growth opportunities
• Driving innovation and identifying new approaches to improve modelling, simulation, and data-driven decision making
