  • Growing non profit 125+ bed community hospital in Georgia that has served its community for over 50 years
  • The Director of Perioperative Services (RN) will manage the strategic direction of the department and be well supported with a team of Nurse Managers, Clinical Coordinators and Charge Nurses
  • The Department performs a variety of surgical procedures including general, CV, orthopedic, urology, ENT, bariatrics, endoscopy, and robotics
  • Position reports directly to a dynamic and collaborative Chief Nursing Officer

Qualifications & Requirements for Director of Perioperative Services (RN)

  • BSN required / Master's preferred
  • RN Active License State of Georgia
  • Minimum five (5) years of Operating Room nursing experience is required
  • Minimum three (3) years in surgical services/operating room leadership experience at Manager level or above in an inpatient surgical services/operating room setting
  • Transformational and inspirational leadership style
  • Able to lead and mentor and empower the staff
  • Track record of success in improving staff engagement, quality and outcomes
  • Collaborative and collegial leadership style, able to build positive relationships across all levels
  • Identify strategic opportunities to grow and enhance the service line
