Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ, seeks a Director of Perfusion Services to lead strategic, clinical, operational, and administrative aspects of perfusion across cardiothoracic surgery programs and related cardiovascular services.

The role requires minimum five years of clinical perfusion with at least three years in leadership, a CCP certification, NJ licensure, and a bachelor's degree in perfusion or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program.
• Bachelor’s degree in perfusion, cardiovascular science, healthcare, or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic, clinical, operational, financial and administrative leadership for Perfusion Services.
• Ensure appropriate 24/7 staffing and call coverage; establish clinical standards, policies, competencies and quality measures.
• Oversee recruitment, performance management, staff development, equipment, supplies, operating and capital resources, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesia, Nursing, Critical Care, ECMO/mechanical circulatory support, OR leadership, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain and hospital administration.
• Maintain clinical competency as a Certified Clinical Perfusionist and participate in direct patient care as needed.
