Introduction

LOCATION OF POSITION
This position is located at: Baltimore State Office Complex 301 W. Preston Street Baltimore, MD 21201. This position is telework-eligible.
Main Purpose of Job
The Maryland Department of General Services (DGS) is looking to hire a talented and experienced leader to serve as the Director of Performance Improvement & Innovation. This position will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing the agency's performance metrics across all DGS divisions. The position will oversee comprehensive human-centric performance and the build-out, implementation, and adoption of a continuous improvement program that stretches across the entire agency, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all divisions. The successful candidate will manage a team of analysts dedicated to providing trend analyses, data visualization, and other essential process improvement functions. Additionally, this role will contribute to the creation of the agency’s Strategic Plan by providing critical insights into the effective measurement of short, medium, and long-term goals.
