Job summary

Blood Cancer United is seeking a mission-driven leader to unite multiple staff teams and cultivate strong relationships with donors and partners in a designated market area.

You will drive innovative peer-to-peer fundraising programs to exceed revenue goals while advancing our goal of enabling patients with blood cancer to gain more than one million years of life by 2040. Local travel up to 30% and flexible scheduling may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7-8 years of relatable experience.
• Proven track record of success in fundraising or mission-driven roles.
• Ability to develop high-performing teams and lead through change.

Responsibilities

• Mission Integration: Communicate Blood Cancer United's mission and priorities; organize local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors.
• Staff Leadership & Development: Create and implement annual strategic plan; train and manage peer-to-peer fundraising teams.
• Volunteer Leadership & Development: Grow volunteer and corporate relationships; recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer leadership; provide support.
• Innovation in High Impact Fundraising: Achieve peer-to-peer fundraising revenue goals; retain and upgrade sponsorships; promote organizational initiatives.
